Sitting here stressing on what fashion moves I need to make whilst packing for my weekend with Kareeta... Headed south Saturday for shows in Novato, Sacramento and Livermore… Pretty stoked, as the first run in SoCal with the Rita’s was a gas. The band is so fucking good and the idea that they let me up to blubber all over everything is madness… It works tho… They know my songs better than I do and the shows were killer. My favorite part being, playing their stuff... plus Danny Hutchens tunes and all kinds of cool noise… Rest assured, there will be more coming your way at some point...

I’ll fly home, grab my son Judah and head to NOLA... excited to show him the “South”.
A quick note to say Judah is a massive fisherman... and anyone who is like minded... look at the tour dates and if you have info/tips/warnings as to where we can easily access places for him to cast out... Please DM me! (I’m from a huge fishing family and frankly don’t know shit about it).
A lot of places I’m excited to get back to... but I haven’t been in NOLA since pre covid. Lots of folks I’m psyched to see... and figure how to show my kid the town without outing my sordid history...
The tour wraps up at Eddie’s Attic in ATL on Easter Sunday... there’s something poetic there, but I’m hesitant to dig too deep... Expect the rapture... at least…

Lots of summer plans to drop soon.. the coolest so far is I’m getting to return to High Sierra Music Festival this year... I’m always thrilled when I get invited to be there...
I’m still pushing the fuck out of Baby You’re The Man Who Would Be King… however the other big record news is Terminus Records is releasing Mouthful Of Copper in May… beautifully boxed with copper vinyl. Word is, the music is pretty good too!
A couple letters back, I’d talked up a big re-entry into my social media duties... but all those cool ideas have taken longer to manifest than anticipated... seemingly it all is coming together in its own timely fashion.
Also… I’d like to take a moment and acknowledge my friend Kasha La... very few of us walk across the earth leaving such massive and awe inspiring footprints… Her thunder inducing footsteps will be sorely missed... When it’s time to go, doing the thing you love is the best we can hope for... and Kasha left us like she lived... shaking the earth. All blessings on her.
I’m sure there’s other stuff I’m supposed to be writing about… but that weird never seen fireball is in the Portland sky… so fuck it... I’m grabbing the dog to go soak it up. See all you lovelies in Novato. Peace and God Bless.
