Jerry Joseph and the Jackmormons (Jerry Joseph (guitar, vocals), JR Ruppel (bass, vocals) and Steven Drizos (drums, vocals) return to Portland for another hometown New Years run to ring in 2013. This four night tour of Portland begins with an acoustic show at the Alberta Rose Theater on December 28th, then moves to the cozy confines of Mississippi Studios on December 29th and 30th and concludes with the band’s first performance at the historic McMenamins Bagdad Theater on New Year’s Eve. The New Years Eve performance will feature the Paul Brainard Horns backing the band on originals and special cover songs for this special holiday performance.Joseph and Drizos recently returned from a November tour of Lebanon and Israel including a Tel Aviv show played while rockets screamed overhead in the lastest incident in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
